Race at the Base 2

race to the base 2

More than £2,000 was raised for Banbury Young Homelessness Project at the recent Race at the Base event. The event organised by Purple Patch Running and sponsored by developer Dorchester Living saw some 600 runners take part over the 5k, 10k and half marathon courses.

Banbury Young Homelessness Project (BYHP) was chosen as the race charity and eleven of their supporters took part in the event, whilst volunteers assisted with running a children’s lucky dip, enjoyed by those spectating or partaking in the race. BYHP support vulnerable young people aged 13 to 25 who are homeless or who may be at risk of homelessness, across North Oxfordshire and South Northants.
