This month we were delighted to see the official opening of Minerva Clinical Services, Heyford Park’s first on-site pharmacy.
The pharmacy will provide day-to-day clinical services to residents and the surrounding community, including prescriptions and repeat prescriptions, over the counter medicines, and general advice from the pharmacist.
For those already registered with Alchester Medical Group, specific appointments with a doctor can also be arranged via pre-booked appointments. In due course Minerva pharmacy expects to offer additional clinical services, such as flu jabs.
As Heyford Park continues to grow, the pharmacy will provide an essential service to the community and cut journeys to nearby pharmacies in Deddington and Bicester.
Residents of surrounding villages, including Lower Heyford, Somerton, Ardley with Fewcott and Middleton Stoney can also use the new pharmacy at Heyford Park.

“The entire community can now benefit from the services that we’re able to provide at the pharmacy. Anyone who lives or works locally can be quickly served with the healthcare items that are always so vital when they’re ill or when being treated for an ongoing condition. The new pharmacy is very easily accessed – it’s on Camp Road just up from Sainsbury’s – and we invite everyone to drop in and talk with us about how our services can help their personal needs.”
