Another milestone has been reached at Heyford Park, as the new community continues to grow. On Friday 25th September, the new Sainsbury’s Local was opened at Heyford Park by North Oxfordshire MP Victoria Prentis.
The new Sainsbury’s offers a range of products including fresh fruit and vegetables, a fresh bakery and a Costa coffee machine, as well as a wide selection of other products. The new store has created 15 jobs and will trade from 7am – 11pm Monday to Sunday.
Paul Silver, Chief Executive of Dorchester Living, said:
“This is another fantastic milestone in the evolution of Heyford Park. Alongside the new homes, we are providing amenities that will help to create a thriving and vibrant place to live, work and socialise”.
On the day of opening, Victoria Prentis MP commented:
“Today marks a major milestone in the development of Heyford Park. This is a growing community and it’s wonderful to see the village get the investment and services it needs to thrive.
This new store brings convenience and jobs to Upper Heyford and I’m delighted to have the opportunity to celebrate this exciting day with the local Sainsbury’s team”.
The new Sainsbury’s will sit alongside five further shops available to let at the heart of Heyford Park’s Village Centre, which is set to become a busy hub of social and commercial activity with a pub and hotel planned for 2021.
