Heyford Park Free School students have buried a time capsule under the new Village Green at Heyford Park. The ceremony took place on Wednesday 2nd December, 2015.
All primary and secondary students were encouraged to put forward items that reflected the history of the Heyford Park site, including the influence of the air force base during the World Wars and Cold War, as part of the school curriculum. These items, as well as information about modern day Heyford Park and school memorabilia were placed in the capsule which was buried under the newly laid Village Green, for discovery in years to come.
