In December 2015 Dorchester collected Christmas gifts for children of the local Heyford and Caversfield Children’s Centre. Gifts were donated by Heyford Park community members and visitors, such as toys, clothes, blankets, sensory and musical equipment.
The centre caters for children under five and their families, providing a place where they can find a variety of activities, information and support from professionals. The centre also provides weekly specialist sessions including speech, language and children’s development and there is support available for parents and children with disabilities and additional needs.
