Over 220 local community members gathered to watch the film at the event organised by Dorchester Living, the developer behind Heyford Park, and outdoor cinema provider, Enchanted Cinema. The money raised from ticket sales will be donated to a charity selected by the developer later this year.
The event took place on the new village green, at the heart of the Heyford Park development, and featured live music before the film, as well as games and activities for children.
Attendees brought picnics to enjoy whilst watching the film, alongside refreshments and food served from bars and stands at the event.
Jeanne Evett, Sales and Marketing Director for Dorchester Living, said: “We were delighted to put on this great community event with many community members joining us to watch this magical film and helping to raise money for charity. It was great to utilise the fantastic community space we have at Heyford Park by bringing the village green to life with live music and, of course, the outdoor cinema.”
